Sky Vegas Pays Out Top Progressive Jackpot

How do you turn 90 pence into a multi million pound win? By playing the popular Millionaires Club online slot game, that’s how! A 37 year old man from Newcastle, UK, tried his luck on this five reel, nine pay line slot game at the Alderney licensed Sky Vegas online casino, and was shocked to find that that after a wager of under one pound, he was the winner of the top jackpot on Millionaires Club – a whopping £2.6 million! This is the second time that Millionaires Club, created by software giant, Cryptologic, has paid out more than one million pounds on its jackpot at Sky Vegas. The game’s largest payout was an eye-watering £8 million, won by a lucky player in 2007.

“We are in the business of making instant millionaires,” said John Parsonage, the Head of Gaming for Sky Vegas Casino. “This is the second time one of our players has bagged a life-changing windfall from CryptoLogic’s game and is a great crowd-puller for our site. We are planning to launch another million pound jackpot slot soon so hopefully there will be even more SkyVegas.com millionaires in the future.”

Added Ian Price of Cryptologic: “Since its launch in 2005, Millionaires Club has gained a loyal following due to its innovative content and a unique blend of compelling entertainment value and big cash prizes. We congratulate SkyVegas.com and the player on this win, which again highlights the game's huge appeal to casino operators and players worldwide.”

Titan Casino Running Exciting New Promotion

Titan Casino, which works off the powerful Playtech software platform, announced this week that it is launching a brand new promotion that should see players get more for their bucks. New players, who open an account with the site, will be able to double their bonuses on their first deposits. This essentially means that the first 1000 players who sign up at Titan Casino with a unique code, will be able to earn up to EUR 400 in their accounts, instead of the usual EUR 200.

“This extra money can then be used by new members to play exciting casino games including online blackjack, roulette, video slots, keno, progressive jackpot games and more,” said a statement this week by Titan Casino. “The bonus money can also be used to play TitanCasino.com’s new live dealer games for the ultimate interactive online gaming experience.”

Ralph Topping Reiterates Commitment to William Hill

Ralph Topping, who has been with William Hill bookmakers for over forty years, serving as Chief Executive Officer since 2008, has renewed his contract with the group and said that he would remain at its helm until at least 2013. The new deal will see Topping receive a remuneration package of £600,000, with the option of this number increasing over time. He will also be given a one off retention award of 552,995 William Hill shares that will be vested at the end of December, 2013, subject to continued employment requirements.

Topping has managed to lead William Hill through some of its most successful years in recent times, including the deal that it signed with Playtech to form William Hill Online, and, this year, the purchase of three US based sports betting companies.

“We have made exceptional progress in the transformation of William Hill during the last three years,” said Topping. “There are significant further opportunities ahead of us and I am pleased to have been asked by the Board to continue leading the business at this crucial time in William Hill’s growth and development.”

Bwin Poker Updates Software

Bwin Poker announced that from this week, players will be able to enjoy updated software features. The main differences will be felt in the change in the number of players that can be seated at cash games at the poker site. Six competitors will be able to sit around short handed tables during cash games at Bwin Poker, while nine will be able to be seated at full ring game tables.

According to a statement issued by Bwin Poker, the changes are designed to bring the players’ experience at Bwin Poker tables in line with other popular sites in the industry “as the standard short handed table seats up to six players while the standards full ring table seats up to nine players.”

“You'll notice the changes on June 16 when the software is implemented but we just wanted to give players a heads-up so that there's no confusion when you log on and see that the seating arrangement for cash games tables has been changed slightly,” read the statement.

Bwin Poker is considered one of the leading online poker sites in the world and offers new players an extremely generous welcome bonus that could earn them up to $500 free.
