Exciting Times for Cryptologic

Industry renowned online casino software provider, Cryptologic, has announced that it has signed a lucrative multi year deal that should bring some more Hollywood glamour to its already excellent games portfolio. Cryptologic has signed a deal with Paramount Digital Entertainment Corp. to gain access to twenty of the most popular film titles and characters in the company’s movie library, with the intention of creating slot games based on these films. Cryptologic hopes that by the end of the year, twenty new slot games featuring characters such as Beowulf, Ferris Bueler and Forrest Gump will be released for its players’ enjoyment.

“We're very excited about this new relationship with Paramount Digital Entertainment as it both vindicates and enhances our strategic position,” said the President and Chief Executive Officer of Cryptologic, Brian Hadfield. “Paramount Pictures boasts an extensive catalogue of classic and new releases and Cryptologic makes the world's best branded internet casino games.”

“It's been proven that Cryptologic's branded games drive internet casino revenue," concluded Hadfield, “and we look forward to a mutually profitable relationship with this global entertainment leader”.

It has also been reported that Cryptologic is considering launching a new site that will be home to all its movie related slot games, breaking from tradition of only providing partner sites with its software.

Out of Africa with World Poker Tour

New “Super Casino” Goes Live

Playtech Partners with Top Spanish Casino

Industry leading software provider, Playtech, announced that it had signed a lucrative deal with one of Spain’s top land based casinos, Casino Gran Madrid, to create a unique games package for it. Casino Gran Madrid, which operates a huge 11,000 square foot casino in Spain, is keen to bring its brand online and is said to have been working closely with Playtech’s creative team to bring together a portfolio of games that appeals to its thousands of players.

“We are delighted to have secured this agreement with one of Europe's largest and most respected land based operators,” said Mor Weitzer, the Chief Executive Officer of Playtech. “We expect this to be a significantly value accretive relationship, exemplifying our strategy in increase the number of regulated markets in which we operate.”

In response, the Director of Information Systems at Casino Gran Madrid, Jorge Casanova said: “Our agreement with Playtech strengthens CGM's leading position in the Spanish casino market.
