Soccer Frustration Turns into £1.3 million Jackpot

A woman who tired of watching her husband watch the Euro 2012 football action last week decided that she’d have some fun of her own and accessed her account at Ladbrokes Bingo. After placing a £5 wager on a jackpot game, the 33 year old mother of three was stunned to see that she was the winner of a staggering prize worth £1,364,745.

Speaking about her fantastic win, Potter recalled: “I had a spare minute and wanted to get away from the football so I decided to log on. As soon as I saw the size of the jackpot I thought it was worth a go and I couldn't believe my eyes when it said that I'd won. I can't remember much after. It's all a blur. My kids came into the room and we all started screaming. It's like a madhouse in here.”

Ladbrokes said that it was “over the moon” for the player. “It's one of the biggest wins of all time and we've sent the champers along to kick off the celebrations,” said Ladbrokes spokesman, Alex Donohue. “We bet she'll never moan at her man for watching the footie ever again.”
