Casino LaVida Pays out Within Hours

IM, a player from Canada, became a member of the Microgaming powered Casino La Vida at the beginning of the month and decided to try out the video poker games at the site. His enjoyment turned to absolute joy after he hit the progressive jackpot on the popular Jackpot Deuces progressive poker game and took home $44,556. This was one of the fastest payouts seen in Casino La Vida’s history, and certainly brought a lot of satisfaction to the site’s management. “We are thrilled to have yet another happy winner at the casino,” said Victoria Lamonte, the Promotions Manager for Casino LaVida.

“The case of ‘IM’ disproves the superstition that people need to play years and years before they ever see a win. We welcome him into our winners’ circle with open arms and hope he has many more wins just like it.”

Jackpot Deuces progressive jackpot video poker game has four wild cards/deuces which have the potential to see big payouts. The progressive jackpot begins each time at $5,000 and pays out an average of more than $20K a win twice a month. “The amount you stand to win depends on the amount of coins you are willing to bet,” read Casino La Vida’s statement.

Poker Stars Heading Towards 85 Billionth Hand

It was only a few months ago that the biggest online poker room in the world, Poker Stars, was celebrating a golden milestone – the dealing of a staggering 80 billion hands. But now Poker Stars is eyeing yet another milestone in the form of its 85th billionth hand which it predicts will hit any time soon. When the 80 billionth hand was hit, nearly $23,000 was won by a lucky Spanish player, and his seven table companions pocketed $10,000 simply being at the same table as the winner.

Poker Stars is definitely keeping in the tradition of big rewards this time around as well and will out over a million dollars in prizes to 300 players. The Mega Milestone hand will eventually take the players to the biggest number of all – the Road to 100 Billion campaign. For now, players can get into the action by trying their luck at Poker Stars in real cash games, and perhaps they may just be at the right place at the right time and take home thousands of dollars in prize money when the 85th millionth hand is hit…

Zynga Gaming Begins Online Gambling Lobbying

Zynga Gaming, which runs some of the most popular social games on the social network site, Facebook, has started to invest effort and funds into lobbying US politicians to allow online gambling for real money. Zynga, which offers Facebook games such as Zynga Poker – a play for free poker game with millions of daily players, believes that it may still be a while before the US allows real money gambling, but it is bound to happen in the future. When legislation changes, Zynga wants to be at the forefront of the newly regulated industry.

Zynga Gaming is offering its support to the Internet Gambling Consumer Protection and Public-Private Partnership Act of 2012 and has hired advisors to lobby the Californian based act. The bill stalled in the Golden State earlier this year, but there is still hope that it may be reprised, despite opposition by Indian tribes. In the second quarter, Zynga spent $75,000 lobbying on a federal level.
