Oscars Celebration at Jackpot Capital Casino
The 85th Academy Awards are just around the corner and what better way to celebrate then by combining the Oscars with your favorite online casino. Still No Payouts for US Full Tilt Poker Players
While European players can happily deposit cash and withdraw winnings at Full Tilt Poker, their US counterparts are still waiting for the nearly $160 million owed to them, ever since the US Department of Justice blocked access in April 2011. While other online poker sites affected by what became known as Black Friday managed to pay their players back, Full Tilt Poker has not been able to reach an agreement with the Department of Justice that will see over 1.3 million US players get their funds back.
Last year, Full Tilt was sold to Poker Stars online poker room and there was hope for a while that US players would finally be paid out. However, months have since passed and it seems that there is no payout agreement in site. One lone poker forum managed to get a comment out of the department when asked if there is a payout on the horizon. All that the DOJ was willing to say was “Soon”. Whether that can be interpreted as in the coming weeks, or whether it was simply a brush off – only time will tell. In the meantime, Full Tilt Poker players from the United States have no choice but to wait (im)patiently for their money.
Sheriff Games Continues Expansion
It’s been a busy few weeks for the Dutch based software provider, Sheriff Gaming, which continues to make significant tracks in the online gambling industry. Earlier this week, Sheriff Gaming announced that it was launching a new mobile games portfolio, to be known as SMART, allowing players to enjoy their magnificent 3D slot games while on the go.
A few days later, NYX Interactive, the gambling operator, announced that it was expanding its relationship with Sheriff Gaming by distributing Sheriff’s SMART mobile games portfolio via its MOVE mobile platform.
Speaking about the impending launch of Sheriff Gaming’s games on its platform, NYX Interactive said in a statement: “The speed with which we can deliver these newly released titles is a testament to the efficiency of OGS and excellent relationships we have with our partners and customers."
A spokesperson for Sheriff Gaming, Eric Roskamp said that the group was very excited to be able to offer its new mobile games via NYX Interactive. “The integration of Sheriff’s SMART 3D Games into MOVE powered by NYX OGS will be a powerful tool for new mobile player acquisition and player retention,” he said. “In the last years we established a strong partnership with NYX Interactive and we are looking forward to launching more mobile games in their platform in the future.”
