Betfair Signs Lucrative Live Streaming Deal
Betfair online sportsbook site has signed a new deal with sports rights agency, the Sportsman Media Group, which will see the former expand its live video streaming service significantly. The new service will allow Betfair punters to view top sporting events from around the world, including Bundesliga and La Liga games, as well as games from the European Handball Federation. Tennis, basketball, table tennis fans will also be catered to.
“The Sportsman Media Group’s streaming package perfectly complements our existing video streams with additional top sporting events,” said Lee Cowles, the UK director for Betfair. “We are now able to offer video streaming for almost every sport.
The Chief Executive Officer for the Sportsman Media Group, Thomas Krohne said that the group was very happy to have Betfair on board as a new partner for its live streaming portfolio.
